- Notes:
- The grading symbols can be any letter or number system, mapped to percentages per trading item

- Works for both in-person and online classes (QR code can be sent e.g. by email)
- Students can use app to self-report absence, and include a note to teacher
- Self-reporting options:
- The QR code can be different per class and can be changed daily
- Teacher will get location where QR code was scanned
- The QR code can also be used for check-out from class
- Students can be asked to do survey at check-in (e.g. for COVID symptoms)
- Students can be asked to do a post-class survey when check-out is used
- Attendance can be recorded without QR code (e.g. if QR code is damaged)

- Mark student as “Inactive”
- Instead of deleting a student, you can mark a student as “Inactive” from a given date
- An inactive student is not shown on the daily attendance, behavior & grading panels
- This allows you to retain the student history which is lost if you delete the student
- You can reactivate the student if the student returns from a temporary absence
- Allow school teachers to customize their own behavior and grading items
- In a multi-teacher school, two new options in “School settings”:
- Allow teachers to customize Behavior?
- Allow teachers to customize Grading?

- College admin can allow teachers to customize their own behavior & grading
